    Labocosmetica LUBRIFICA is an innovative formula that creates a non-stick, lubricated cushion that minimises friction allowing a clay bar to safely slide over the surface, preventing scratches or swirls, maintaining maximum efficiency and lubrication even with extremely abrasive clay bars, clay mitts or clay blocks.

    Thanks to LUBRIFICA's strong lubrication properties, it is also ideal for sanding or polishing. It can also be used for priming the pad, before and during polishing to make working times longer; and ease working with highly abrasive compounds.

    Labocosmetica LUBRIFICA PLUS leaves no residue or streaks, making it ideal for cleaning the surface after polishing. It does not require rinsing and does not contain silanes that could interfere with the polishing cycle and application of protective films.

    LUBRIFICA PLUS is also ideal for the application of PPF & Wraps, its formula makes the application of paint protection films easier and does not alter the colour. Additionally it works for the installation of window tint (glass films).

    Claying

    • Spray directly onto the surface to be clayed
    • Spray during the claying phase to ensure that the surface is well lubricated
    • Rinse the car after the claying process is finished

    If a clay bar falls onto the ground, it must be disposed of. Do not apply pressure when passing the clay over the lubricated area. Avoid using the clay bar in direct sunlight. This can make the lubricant dry out too quickly.

    A unique product with a unique use

    After hounding Labocosmetica Italy for months without any luck I was contacted by Autobuff stating that they were going to be distributors of the range and I was excited to test out Sidero, Lubrifica and Fiero first of all.

    My initial reason for purchasing Lubrifica was to try it as a wetting agent for polishing pads and the creams/iiquids

    However quickly I discovered that it is not good for this as it dries out the polishes really badly.
    But on the bright side it is a fantastic clay bar and clay towel/mitt lubricant and for damp sanding at 1:10 or full strength it works very well, leaving sanding marks that are very uniform and somewhat slightly easier to remove when paint correcting. One example - removing Trizact 3000 grit sanding marks with my Orange semi soft pad and the third strongest polish in an Australian made four polish range with just a 15 mm orbit random orbital polisher in two passes (top to bottom and back to the top)

    The scent is very interesting, it's somewhat like a dessert flavoured alcoholic drink
    This product has another use that is quite unique - it makes a superb remover of stubborn left on whiteboard marker ink and whiteboard cleaner when you've run out of that and the ink has been left on for months and the whiteboard eraser won't shift it all and there's a clear ghosting of the text still on the board or the ink won't go. It takes it straight off and cleans the board well but stick with 1:10

    So next time you need to clean your board and you don't have any cleaner, use that. This and other wacky finds are why some manufacturers have me test their products and tools as I'm way outside the box and a total detail tech geek
