The difference between an all in one polishing compound and a one step polishing compound can be a bit confusing. An AIO polish is exactly what it sounds like, it includes both correction and protection in one single product. A one step paint correction actually requires two steps, a single polishing step followed by adding protection. This is what causes the confusion.

All in one polishing compounds eliminate fine swirls and light scratches. All in one polishing compounds have a medium cut and high gloss finish, with the added bonus they also contain carnauba wax or ceramic elements to enhance gloss. Using a product like this is a great choice when time is of the essence and paint damage is not too severe.

Before applying any polishing compound, the paint needs to be washed, dried then decontaminated using a iron remover and clay bar.
