    Prep:

    The Prep is the most important step of the process, our coating is great but it can not do the prep work for you!

    1. Wash the Trim surface using Armour Detail Supply Decon Soap.

    2. Optional: For older or oxidised trim, scrub Trim with our Armour Detail Supply Tyre Cleaner diluted 4:1.

    3. Use our Armour Detail Supply Panel Prep to remove any oils/residue, repeat this step twice to ensure a clean surface.

    You are ready to apply Armour TRIM+ Coating!

    Application:

    1. After thorough prep prime the applicator with 3 lines to start and each subsequent application will only need a small amount, a little goes a long way.

    2. Apply Armour TRIM+ Coating to one section of plastic trim at a time. Apply using a methodical circular motion with medium/heavy pressure to massage the product into the pores of the plastic. Allow the product to “set up” for 1-2 minutes.

    3. In a small circular motion level coating utilizing multiple towels. Check for any streaks, or high spots which can appear as dark spots. Repeat this process per Trim section.

    Armour TRIM+ was designed as a single layer coating, however, it can be layered for extremely neglected trim that needs additional restoration. If you wish to apply multiple layers allow a few minutes between layers. This will guarantee optimal performance.

    After Care:

    Armour TRIM+ dries to the touch within minutes. Allow product to sit 4 hours for initial cure before getting wet. Do not wash or induce to chemicals for 24 hours.
