HEAVY CUT POLISHING COMPOUNDS
Heavy cut polishing compounds remove severe paint defects including deep scratches, oxidation and orange peel. Using a heavy cut polishing compound is normally a multi-stage process. If the paintwork is in need of rejuvenation and you're beginning with a heavy cutting compound, you would follow this with a medium or a finishing compound.
Before applying any polishing compound, the paint needs to be washed, dried then decontaminated using a iron remover and clay bar.
