Is my go-to for wheel and tyre cleaning. It’s super easy to use and delivers consistently solid results, especially on wheels that aren’t heavily etched with brake dust. It breaks down grime, road film, and old tyre dressing quickly, leaving a clean, fresh finish without needing harsh scrubbing.
What I really like is that it’s non-acidic, so it’s safe to use on all types of wheels — painted, chrome, or coated — without worrying about damage. Plus, the value for money is hard to beat, especially considering the results you get.

I tested the DIY Detail Water Spot Remover on a few vehicles, and my experience was mixed but mostly positive. It worked well on newer water spots — I just had to treat the area a couple of times and lightly agitate it with a microfibre cloth to get the best results. The surface came up nice and clean afterward.
However, for older, etched-in hard water stains, it didn’t make much difference. Those deeper marks were still visible even after multiple applications. On the plus side, it was completely safe to use over existing ceramic coatings, which is a big win since some removers can strip or dull protection layers.
Overall, it’s a handy product for light to moderate water spot removal and maintenance, but don’t expect miracles on severe etching.
