PAINT PREP FOR REMOVAL OF WAXES, SEALANTS & COATINGS
Paint Prep products contain little or no abrasive particles and removes all traces of silicone residue. A key component of detailing, Paint Prep prepares the surfaces before the protection phase. Paint Prep's will remove polish and silicone residues which might interfere with the bonding process of a ceramic coating, sealant or wax.
If you prepare your paintwork properly a ceramic coating, sealant or wax will be easier to apply and last longer.
Before you apply a ceramic coating, sealant or wax it is important that it is squeaky clean and free from contamination, old waxes and polishes to allow the correct bonding and provide the durability or protection stated. Paint Prep's are not simply a degreaser, they lifts oils and residue that can also be left behind after polishing to prepare the paint surface perfectly for the protection stage. The other key benefit is that they create an anti-static surface, which is very beneficial when you are applying ceramic coatings and protection to your car. They can be used on most surfaces prior to coating, such as paint, wheels, chrome, trim etc
