It definitely lives up to the name. The foam is super thick and clings to the paint nicely, giving plenty of dwell time to loosen dirt and grime. It also offers great lubrication, so the wash mitt glides effortlessly across the surface without any drag.
The scent is a sweet, candy-like mix of bubblegum and tropical fruit, noticeable but not overpowering, which makes the wash a bit more enjoyable to use. It rinses off cleanly without leaving residue or affecting existing protection, and the paint feels slick and fresh afterwards.
Tried the Labocosmetica 2pH Maintenance Wash System on a pretty neglected ute and honestly, it impressed me. The combo of the alkaline and acidic shampoos worked really well together — it broke down the grime, tree sap, road film, and who knows what else that was on it without needing any heavy scrubbing. I did have to agitate slightly in some areas.
After rinsing, the paint looked noticeably brighter and cleaner, with a slick finish that felt decontaminated and fresh. It’s a great system if you’re dealing with cars that haven’t been washed properly in a while but still want to keep things safe for coatings and sealants.
Overall, really effective and easy to use. You can tell it’s designed for detailers who care about results and surface safety.
This wash mitt feels amazing to use. The fibres are super soft and hold a ton of suds, so it glides over the paint really smoothly without dragging or scratching. You can tell straight away it’s built for safe washing — perfect for cars with delicate paint or coatings.
It’s also really comfortable to hold, even when it’s full of water, and it rinses out easily after use. After a few washes it still looks and feels brand new, which says a lot about the quality.
Definitely one of the best mitts I’ve used — makes washing safer and a bit more enjoyable too. I purchased two to make washing more efficient.
Is my go-to for wheel and tyre cleaning. It’s super easy to use and delivers consistently solid results, especially on wheels that aren’t heavily etched with brake dust. It breaks down grime, road film, and old tyre dressing quickly, leaving a clean, fresh finish without needing harsh scrubbing.
What I really like is that it’s non-acidic, so it’s safe to use on all types of wheels — painted, chrome, or coated — without worrying about damage. Plus, the value for money is hard to beat, especially considering the results you get.
Overall, a dependable, budget-friendly wheel cleaner that’s earned a permanent spot in my detailing setup.
I tested the DIY Detail Water Spot Remover on a few vehicles, and my experience was mixed but mostly positive. It worked well on newer water spots — I just had to treat the area a couple of times and lightly agitate it with a microfibre cloth to get the best results. The surface came up nice and clean afterward.
However, for older, etched-in hard water stains, it didn’t make much difference. Those deeper marks were still visible even after multiple applications. On the plus side, it was completely safe to use over existing ceramic coatings, which is a big win since some removers can strip or dull protection layers.
Overall, it’s a handy product for light to moderate water spot removal and maintenance, but don’t expect miracles on severe etching.
